Yorkshire RA hosts two open meetings in the season; one in the late spring and one in the autumn. They are open to all-comers, and visitors are very welcome for TR and F class competition.

Brockholes is currently being used as the host range for open meetings. This facility, in the heart of Last of the Summer Wine country, is owned by Huddersfield RC and features electronic targets at 200, 400 and 500 yards, covered firing points and comfortable rubber mat firing point surface. We have created a friendly but very competitive shoot and have regulars, cadets and guests from further afield. Good weather is ordered and usually arrives in time, after all this is the norm for God’s Own Country!

Special Embroidered Badges
Five badges will be awarded to the top five competitors in Competition 13, regardless of class.
One additional badge will be reserved for cadets, if sufficient entries. Otherwise will be awarded to 6th place.

NRA Bronze Medal
Awarded to the highest competitor in Competition 9 who is not a previous winner.
This award appears to be in abeyance and no medals from the NRA have been supplied for the past few years.
